Turner Lacaze for Cancer Corporation is a 501(c)(3) corporation which was formed by Turner Lacaze to provide financial resources and other support to young adult cancer patients. The corporation is built to support families and loved ones as the individual undergoes treatment. Turner was diagnosed with stage 4 choriocarcinoma back in August of 2016. After 27 consecutive nights in the ICU, 4 rounds of chemotherapy, over 50 additional nights in the hospital, and 2 thoracotomies, his rock-star team of doctors and nurses gave him the best news of his life; he was in remission on February 14th, 2017. However, his fight didn’t stop there and will never stop until there is a cure for this terrible disease. Turner believes that no young adult should be hindered in their ability to fight cancer due to financial obstacles.
